Website Future Architecture Proposed Implementation

The website opens to a portal that focuses traffic towards three different classes of customers. A Sector of the Website is devoted to serving each class of customer.

  • - Provides the initial draw casting the widest net.

• Returning Customer ==> What is a Spacefaring Society?

  • - Provides access to the best available information on our Societies Goal of achieving a spacefaring society.

• Member ==> What is NSS Doing?

  • - Provides the path to getting involved at the local, national, and international level.

   • Concept: Answers the "What" Questions

   • Purpose: Website Must Convey What NSS is about in a compelling evocative way!?

   1. Building NSS Community

      • Who we are locally

      • Who we are nationally

      • Who we are internationally

   2. Increasing Membership

      • Value proposition to public-at-large

      • Value proposition to subscribers

      • Value proposition to sustaining members

      • Value proposition to patrons/sponsors

   3. Portray NSS Vision of Future

      • Positive future as a Spacefaring Society

   4. Attract New/Repeat Visitors

      • We tell the public what is going to happen

      • We help the public be a part of what is happening

      • We tell the public what, what has happened means

   5. Education of Public & Teachers

      • We are a portal to what matters

   6. Sell NSS Goals & Roadmap

      • We know the goals that we wish to accomplish

      • We are working through the roadmap of how to obtain them

   7. Recognized Source of Space Information

      • We either have it or know where it is

   8. Get them involved and keep them involved

      • NSS provides many paths to get involved

      • NSS sponsors projects and events that make a difference

   • Concept: Answers the "Why" Questions

   • Purpose: Website Must Be A Recognized Source of information!?

      • We broaden the community of interested souls when work towards building community in space

      • Membership provides the resources to further the goals of the Society

   3. Portray NSS Vision of Future

      • You have a choice of tomorrows

   4. Attract New/Repeat Visitors

      • Everytime you come to the site there is something of value to learn

      • Teaching how to create the future
